Xscape Theatres Elevates Moviegoing with Adyen Partnership, Unlocking Modern Payments for a New Generation of Film Fans
With Adyen’s platform, Xscape Theatres introduces payment options and experiences to enhance customer satisfaction and drive digital evolution across its six U.S. locations.
San Francisco, CA – September 25, 2025 – Adyen, the global financial technology platform of choice for leading businesses, today announced a new partnership with Xscape Theaters to deliver a seamless, modern payment experience for moviegoers, particularly the younger, digital-savvy audiences that make up 47.2% of Xscape’s customer base. The partnership marks a key step in Xscape's digital evolution, helping the cinema chain meet the expectations of today's consumers while driving strategic value through payments.
With six locations across the U.S., including Kentucky, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, and Texas, Xscape is focused on elevating the theater-going experience through creative experiences and premium amenities. Known for their towering 70-foot-wide Xtreme screens and ultra-plush luxury recliners, the theater chain is carving out a distinctive place in the market. Since adopting Adyen’s solutions earlier this year, Xscape has activated multiple alternative payment methods, including Intelligent Payment Routing, CashApp Pay, and Klarna, to better serve its younger, digital-first audiences.
