  • DNB license to operate in EEA

    Adyen N.V. is authorised as a credit Institution under the supervision of Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank) (“DNB”). This is commonly referred to as a “banking license” and includes the ability to provide cross-border acquiring, payment and banking services in all EEA countries in accordance with the passporting rules under CRD IV. Adyen is also registered in the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under company number 34259528.

    You can consult Adyen’s registration in the DNB register of financial service providers to see which regulated activities and in which EEA countries Adyen is allowed to provide regulated services.

    Adyen N.V. also provides acquiring, payment and banking services in Switzerland as non-regulated activities.

  • UK license

    Adyen N.V. is authorised as an overseas branch of an EEA credit institution in the UK with a Part 4A permission to provide acquiring, payment and financial services under the supervision of the Prudential Regulatory Authority ("PRA") and the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA").

    You can consult Adyen’s registration in the FCA register of financial service providers to see which regulated activities Adyen is authorised to provide in the UK.

  • UAE license

    Adyen MEA FZ-LLC holds a commercial license in the Dubai Internet City Free Zone of the United Arab Emirates, and currently provides its services under a BIN-sponsorship arrangement.
